Most salons in Singapore close by 9PM or 10PM. If you finish work late, here is how to still get your hair done — and what to expect at a late-night salon.
Long shifts, late meetings and night jobs make it hard to fit in a salon visit. Many salons in Singapore close between 8PM and 10PM, and weekend slots fill up fast. A late-night salon lets you book after dinner instead of taking leave.
What you can get done late at night.
- Haircut and styling — usually under an hour.
- Hair colour and bleaching — plan 2 to 4 hours depending on length and how light you want to go.
- Perm and rebonding — plan 2 to 4 hours.
- Hair extensions — time depends on the method and how much hair you add. Ask for an estimate when you book.
For long services, arrive early enough that you are not rushing to beat closing time. At Bazaar we open every day from 11AM to 2AM, so a colour started at 9PM still has plenty of time.
Tips for booking after work.
- Message ahead. Send a WhatsApp with what you want and a photo of your current hair. The stylist can tell you how long it will take.
- Bring a reference photo of the look you want.
- Eat first. Colour and perms take a few hours.
- Check the last-entry time for long services, not just the closing time.
